Cash Mahjong frequently asked questions

We offer live dealer tables for Hong Kong and Taiwanese mahjong with studio streams, plus digital multiplayer rooms that automate shuffling and scoring for both rule sets. Tournaments run Taiwanese rules by default, though we schedule Hong Kong format events once a month. Each table shows the variant name and links to a rule summary before you join.

Choose your payment method on the cashier page, enter the amount, and approve the transaction in your banking app. Chips appear in your lobby balance within one to two minutes, and the payment rail treats it as a domestic transfer with no conversion fee. Minimum load is fifty ringgit; maximum depends on your bank's daily limit for instant transfers.

Your chips sit in a single lobby wallet that works across every Cash Mahjong table and room we host. Finish your current round, return to the lobby, and select a different table; your balance carries over instantly with no transfer step or waiting period. This applies to live dealer games, digital rooms, and tournament heats alike.

You play qualifier rounds Friday through Sunday morning; the system ranks everyone by net chip gain across those heats. Top eight advance to the live final Sunday evening, and seeding for that final depends on your qualifier rank. Ties break by total rounds played, then by earliest finishing time among tied players.

The server holds your seat and hand for ninety seconds. Reconnect within that window and you'll see the same tiles and table state; if you miss the timer your hand auto-folds and chips return minus the round ante. On digital rooms the grace period extends to two minutes because the software can pause tile draws until all four seats confirm they're active.

Each digital round publishes a server seed before the first tile is drawn. After the game ends, open the round history and hash the seed with the published algorithm to reproduce the wall order. If your calculated sequence matches the tiles that appeared in play, the shuffle was honest and unmanipulated.

Our studio operates from ten in the morning until two the following morning Malaysia time, seven days a week. Outside those hours only digital rooms stay open because they run on automated software with no dealer shifts. Tournament finals always stream during evening studio hours so a live dealer can officiate the final rounds.
